Hazel C. Bradford 83, of Estero, FL died February 1, 2010. She had been a resident of Florida since 1997. Mrs. Bradford was born November 28, 1926 in Montezuma, GA a daughter of the late George and Ruby (Bevel) Compton. She worked for the Army and Air Force Motion Picture Service in Atlanta, GA and for the Boy Scouts of America in Pensacola, FL. She and her late husband Jack owned the Baldwin Paint and Body Shop in Silverhill, AL for 15 years before retiring in 1990 to Lavonia, GA. Mrs. Bradford was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs. Her husband, Jack E. Bradford; sister, Bobbie McElwaney; daughter-in-law Susan Phillips Bradford and grandson, Alex Bradford, preceded her in death. Mrs. Bradford is survived by her daughter, Jacquelyn Maxwell (Ralph) of Bonita Springs, FL; two sons, Jim Bradford (Angela S.) of Pensacola, FL and Gary Bradford of Wellington, FL; two sisters, Hilda Bryson of Covington, GA and Joyce Usry (Tom) of Eatonton, GA; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 6, 2010. Burial will follow in Bayview Memorial Park.
