Lucius C. Parmele married Erva Egbert. They moved to Illinois then on to Michigan before settling down in West Cottage Grove, Lane County, Oregon, not far away from her mother Mary Ann Neale. They then moved to Los Angeles County, California.

The 1920 Census shows Lucius and Erva in the city of Los Angeles.
