The father of all of Lyda's children was Eugene Williams. In 1926 Eugene deserted his family for a women with whom he was having an affair. This placed great hardship on the family. Lyda worked two jobs as a janitor and at a laundry to support her family. Eugene moved to the Seattle Washington area with his new love interest. Census records for 1930 state that Lyda was widowed but this ins not true. Only Maxine and Vivian AKA Pat his daughters ever forgave him. Eventually they both moved to Everett WA.
Maxine's first husband was Mr Harry Sprug. He is buried at Crown Hill in Wheatridge CO.
