Lenora "Lee" Hartmann, age 72, of St Augustine entered into rest Jan. 13, 2006, at Flagler Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and had resided in St Augustine for the past 20 years. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church. Lee graduated from Sweet Briar College in Lynchburg, Va. with a degree in psychology. She started on the ground floor of the editorial office of Newsday newspaper in New York in 1957. She married Hans Rudolph "Rudy" Hartmann in 1958 and they resided in Minnesota for a number of years before moving to St Augustine. She currently served as vice president and treasurer for Hartrun Technology Corporation.
Funeral services will be held 9 a.m., Tuesday at St Anastasia Catholic Church, Reverend Fr. Tony Ford. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 5-8 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home. Flowers are gratefully declined and those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to St Anastasia Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years Hans Rudolph "Rudy" Hartmann, St Augustine; daughter and son-in-law: Denice and Francisco Manfredi; St. Augustine; two sons: Hans Gregory Hartmann and Eric E. Hartmann, both of Palm Coast; brother and sister-in-law: Dick and Margaret Fiducia, Palm Coast.
