"Don" and Myrtle Lively Cochran and she died, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Tahlequah at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 28 days. Ms. Bates had been a resident of Tahlequah for many years. She worked as a secretary and was of Cherokee heritage. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband and a daughter. She is survived by her sons, James Crawford and George Crawford of Oregon; daughters, Sally Atchley of Euless, Texas, Vickie Crawford of New York; brothers, Walter, James 7 George Cochran of Oregon; sisters, Nancy Cochran and Katie Merritt of Oregon; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
