At St. Rose Catholic Church in this city (Cloverport), the funeral of Morris Adrian Mattingly was held Fri. morning Jan. 14, the pastor Rev. Charles Fischer officiating. The burial service took place at St. Mary of the Woods Cemetery at McQuady. Active pallbearers were Mike and Larry Keenan; Joe Whitehouse, Tommy Smith, William C. Newman and Ronnie Mattingly. Honorary pallbearers Jimmie Keenan, Paul Smith, Shelby and Paul Mattingly. Mr. Mattingly, a resident of Cloverport Star Route, passed away suddenly at his country home on Thursday night, Jan. 13 a the age of 47 years. The body was brought to the Harry L. Dhonau Funeral Home remaining there until the funeral service. The Rosary was said there on Thursday evening. Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Retha Keenan Mattingly, three sons, Joseph David Mattingly of Louisville, Harold Kenneth and Curtis Lee in the home, one grandson; one sister, Mrs. Murl Mingus of Cloverport; one brother William E. Mattingly and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mattingly, Cloverport Star Route.
