Private in Co. B, 1st Potomac Home Brigade (Cole's Volunteer Maryland Cavalry). Captured at the Battle of Loudoun Heights, 1/10/1864. Weaver's headstone is accurate, but does not identify unit. He died on September 21, 1864 of diarrhea. His remains rest in grave #9409. In 1884, his father applied for a pension for his son's service.
