Mrs. Cora Knepper Anderson was born in Somerset Co PA on Aug. 20, 1863 and died last week. She was married to Hymen H. Anderson on Jan. 21, 1893 in Beaver City NB. They came to Gotebo soon after the opening. Mr. Anderson was a part of the organization of the old Bank of Gotebo.
One Child, Lee Stewart Anderson died in infancy on May 30, 1897. She is survived by four children; Paul K. Anderson of Bogota, Colombia, S. America, Mary Louise Andrew of Houston TX, Barbara A. Haxton of Gotebo and Don H. Anderson of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Services were held Monday, with interment in the Gotebo Cemetery.
