John Calvin Dodd, 86, of Cabot died Wednesday, January 20, 2010. He was born July 30, 1923 in Cabot to the late Edward R. And Josephine Bazzell Dodd. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dodd was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Charles Dodd. Mr. Dodd and his brothers operated a dairy business for 33 years. He was a devoted brother and an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt, especially raccoon hunt.
Mr. Dodd is survived by his siblings; Ella Mae Pennington of Ward, Frank E. Dodd of Cabot, Louise Rhodes of St. Charles, Missouri and Rose Marie Eads of Bartlesville, Oklahoma as well as his sister-in-law, Pat Dodd of Cabot and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
