Geneva Shepherd passed from this life on January 23, 2010 at the age of 89, in Fort Smith, She was born September 7, 1920 in McDougal, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlin Shepherd , of 57 years.
Her life commitment to her husband and her family which she served faithfully and unselfishly. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Westark Church of Christ.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sharon Teresa Lundquist wife of Denny Lundquist of Fort Smith: Phyllis Coutourier, wife of Jack Coutourier of Fort Worth, Texas, and Marcia Johnson, wife of Colonial Craig Johnson of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She will also be missed by her 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildre.
Services were held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 , at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas with interment at Roselawn Cemetery.
