Miss Beulah Watson had been a school teacher before her marriage. She spent two years at Cameron State Teachers College at Canyon. Miss Watson received her teacher's certificate on 2 April 1921 from Austin, Texas to teach elementary school. After her marriage, she stopped teaching school.
Services for Mrs. C.W. Downey were held at the Jean Church of Christ.
Survived by her husband; two small children; several brothers and sisters.
