Lilly Helen Catlin, 95, 612 E. 11th St., Rushville, died at 8:10 p.m. Friday, May 20, 1994, in Miller's Merry Manor at Rushville, where she had lived the last seven years.

She was born Sept. 19, 1898 in Franklin County, the daughter of Edward and Cora Brooks Hokey. She married Cecil Catlin on Aug. 3, 1914; he preceded her in death Nov. 10, 1980.

She spent most of her life in Rushville and during the 1950s and '60s, she was the operator of the Second Hand Store on W. 3rd St in Rushville.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ray (Ruth) Reed, Rushville, Mrs. John (Edith) Scholl, Mrs. Glad (Helen) Herron and Mrs. Vern (Rena) Fulz, all of Connersville; a sister, Miss Stella Hokey, Brookville; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, three sisters, a brother and a son.

Friends may call at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at the mortuary at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Dr. Jeff Woods officiating. Burial will be in Fisher Cemetery in Rush County.
