"Hemorrhage due to fractured pelvis and ruptured bladder, caused by being struck by a blue colored coupe in front of 1305 S. Vandeventer Ave., about 8 p.m., May 1st, 1937. Make and driver of car unknown to jury at this time."
He died in City Hospital at 8:55 p.m. His death was declared to be "Criminal Carlessness" by Deputy Coroner, Alfred J. Perry.
He had lived 78 years, 1 month, & 18 days. His wife was the informant on his death certificate. He was buried on May 4.
