Born Denmark, immigrated to the U.S. in 1892. Married Phillip Spargo, a Cornish miner, at Park City, Utah on 10 Aug. 1899. Mother of 3 children: Jennie, John Phillip, and Harvey Nicholas. Widowed in 1913. Came to Oakland with her sons in 1927. Struck by car and killed while crossing East 14th St. at 38th Ave. in Oakland about 9:30 p.m. on 14 Nov 1931.
