Cora Lee ‘Peck' Ferguson, 83; of Salem
Cora Lee "Peck" Ferguson, 83, of Salem, died Thursday, March 19, 2009, at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.
She was a native of Daviess County, Ky., a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church and a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Ferguson and wife, Barbara, Salem, and Curt Ferguson, Falmouth, Mass.; daughters, Freda Brooks and husband, Ed, Mammoth Cave, Ky., and Ellen Money and husband, Phil, Sellersburg; sisters, Ella Mae Cauley, Hennepan, Ill., Ruth Reynolds, Lakeland, Fla., Clare McFarland, Louisville, Micki Henderson, Pensicola, Fla., and Alice Dows, O'Fallon, Mo.; grandchildren, Jeremy Money and wife, Kerri, Jeffersonville, and Jennifer Hunt and husband, Dave, Louisville; and great-grandchildren, Ella, Kolton, Kyleigh, Alex, and Erin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice "Bud" Ferguson; daughter, Donna Sue Ferguson; and brother, Morgan Henderson.
Visitaiton will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with cremation to follow. Private graveside services will be at a later date at Utica Hillcrest Cemetery.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kosair Children's Hospital, Louisville.
