Fredrick Clyde Treaster passed away quietly at his home at Kistler, about 3:30 o'clock Sunday Morning, October 19th. He had been in ill health in some months but had been able to be around up until the hour of his death, which came as a sudden shock to his family and many friends. His death was caused by silicosis or what is known locally as brickyard consumption. Fredrick Clyde Treaster was born in Mifflin County April 11th, 1881, hence was aged 60 years, six months and eight days at the time of death.
He is survived by his wife; one son; one daughter; three granddaughters

He is also survived by one half-brother and one half-sister.
