A farmer, Andrews came to Olney from Port Lavaca and moved to a farm four miles south of Olney.
Andrews, a veteran of World WAr I, served with the 96th Division in France. He was a member of the Baptist Church and the VFW.
Survived by his wife; three sons - Joe Andrews; H.E. Andrews, Jack Andrews; three brothers - Oscar Andrews, Harry Andrews, Sam Andrews; three sisters - Mrs. Lee Hennig, Mrs. Laurin Gumarin, Mrs. Fred Jennings; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
