BARCHEY – Christina M. 'Teenie,' died Sun., Jan. 17, 2010. She was born in Hooversville but lived most of her life in her beloved Jerome. Daughter of Martin and Mary (Swain) Barchey. Predeceased by sisters: Rose and Ann; brothers, Thomas, John "Jack" and Joseph Barchey; nephew, Thomas Barchey. Survived by special niece, Linda Barchey, Jerome; gr. nephew, Robert Barchey, Tire Hill; gr. niece, Christina Varner, Hollsopple; gr. gr. niece and nephews, Brittany, Jeremy, Steven and Robert John; cousin, neighbor and loving friend, JoAnn Martnishn, Jerome; special cousins, Joseph Stephenson, Boyertown and William Swain, Tulsa, Okla. Christina worked hard her entire life in several different occupations, but her vocation was her church. Jerome Lutheran Church was Christina's life. Interment, Maple Spring Cemetery, near Jerome. Hoffman Funeral Home, Davidsville.
