Final rites for Mrs. Thomas F. McCaleb, a lifetime resident of Atchison County, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the ____funeral home with the Rev. C. F. Kenneweg, pastor of the United Presbyterian church officiating.

In failing health the past few months, Mrs. McCaleb apparently died in her sleep Tuesday afternoon at her Tarkio home, she was 84.

Mrs. McCaleb is survived by her son, Raymond McCaleb, of Fairfield, Iowa, nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Her husband died in June 1934, and in 1950 two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Jenkins and Miss Marie McCaleb, preceded their mother in death.

Ursula Dragoo, daughter of Philip Allen and Hannah Jane Dragoo, was born January 30, 1872 at Langdon, MO. She spent her early life in the Walkups Grove community near Fairfax, and later moved with her parents to a farm near Tarkio.

On February 13, 1894, she was united in marriage to Thomas F. McCaleb in Tarkio, where the couple had lived all their married life. Mrs. McCaleb was a member of the United Presbyterian church.

Burial rook place in nearby Home Cemetery.
