Rosa Armstrong Adams, age 93, of Macon passed away Thursday, October 18, 2007.

Mrs. Adams was born in Bibb County to the late Francis Marion Hollingsworth, Sr. and the late Allie Arlina Johnson. She was a homemaker and member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church where she taught children's Sunday School, was a member of the Faith Bible Class and was active in the WMU Golden Agers. She was predeceased by husbands, Hugh G. Armstrong, and Arnold F. Adams, Sr.; and grandchildren, Melanie Armstrong and Terry Armstrong.

Survivors include her three sons, Robert H. Armstrong (Gwyne) of Forsyth, Jack W. Armstrong (Myrtice) of Macon, and Philip L. Armstrong of Chattanooga, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Stanton R. Armstrong of Jackson, Rollyn Armstrong of Newnan, Kevin Armstrong of Byron, Sheryl Shelly of Kathleen, and Jennifer Milton of Macon; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 21, 2007 at the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. The Reverend Joe McDaniel will officiate. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
