Linda J. Barclay Doyle, age 61,

born July 19, 1947 in Evansville, IL to Leroy & Marjory Barclay, departed her earthly life in OKC on September 3, 2008 from an auto accident due tragically to the inattentiveness of another driver.

Linda was a vivacious & outgoing lady who never met a stranger, nor left anyone who hadn't felt they had become her friend. She loved cats & polite children, gardening, koi ponds, the adventure of the ''hunt'' for antiques and items of uniqueness. Linda will forever be missed as a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and the truest friend to a multitude of those lucky enough to have known her. Linda has been employed throughout her life in a variety of retail, wholesale, & distribution positions, most recently with the May Antique Centre and Greg Earles Estate Sales. To her employers, she was invaluable. She & her John were active Antique Dealers. Linda was a member & past President of the local chapter of the National Assoc. of Watch & Clock Collectors, Northwest Oklahoma City Antique Club, Oklahoma City Antique Guild, Mayflower Society, Oklahoma Humane Society & Assoc. Member of the Okla. Home Builders Association.

Linda is survived by her husband, John Doyle, of whom she recently stated was truly the love of her life. Their children want to express their acknowledgment & gratefulness for his devotion and love for their mother. Linda is also survived by her daughters, Angela Freedman, and Jennifer Smith, granddaughters, Emani Lawrence, and Nevaeh Pertile, sons, Joseph & Mark Doyle, feline companions, Orville, Rambi, Cleo, O'Malley, Zorro, & Rocky, her sister Madelyn Adams, extended family members & a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be sent to: RCB Bank of Nichols Hills, Linda Doyle Feline Rescue Account, 7400 N. Western, OKC, OK 73116.

Services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, September 8, 2008, Mercer Adams Funeral Home.
