Born Sept. 14, 1912, in Heath Springs, he was the son of the late Cameron Alexander and Daisy Elizabeth Godwin Adams and was married to Della Couch Adams.
He was retired from Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Co. and was a member of Park Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; two sons, James P. Adams of Rock HIll and Paul T. Adams of Severn, Md.; two daughters, Dollie A. Bowers of Rock Hill and Bonnie L. Adams of Mount Desert, Maine; a brother, Connie Adams of Heath Springs; two sisters, Myrtle A. Childers and Beulah A. Sims, both of Heath Springs; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Park Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Eddie Ramsey, with burial in Grandview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cauthen Funeral Home, Rock Hill Chapel.
