Mrs. Belcher was born July 3, 1929, in Dalhart, Texas, the daughter of Oscar Denman and Retta Stout Denman.
She retired as a personnel clerk with the Charleston County School District. She was an active member of Cooper River Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of North Charleston, SC; one son: Bill Belcher and his wife Terrie of Richmond, VA; one daughter: Davia Parker of Hanahan, SC; two brothers: Kenneth Denman and his wife Sarah of Denmark, SC and Raymond Denman and his wife Juanita of Hinesville, GA; three sisters: Catherine Cantley and her husband John of Saluda, SC, Peggy Johnson of Irmo, SC and Virginia Yarborough and her husband C.B. of Saluda, SC; four grandchildren: Andrea and Cale Belcher, Courtney and Amanda Parker; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Belcher was predeceased by one sister and one brother.
