Mr. A.C. Saxon and wife were in town Monday returning from Almond where they attended the funeral of Mrs. Jas. Clegg who died Friday. The death of this estimable lady is a great loss to her family and community.

Mrs. Amanda Clegg, aged about 75 years, a much loved lady of Almond, died on Friday last and was buried Saturday at Pleasant Hill Churchyard. The funeral attendance was said to be the largest ever seen in that part of the county.
