Marietta, OK — Services for Linda Kay (Cross) Banks, 47, of Marietta, Okla., will be at Tuesday, January 19, 2010, in Marietta's First Baptist Church with Rev. Lawrence Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Oswalt Cemetery, Oswalt Community, directed by Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Marietta.
Born August 2, 1962, in Ardmore, Okla., the daughter of Jackie Richard "Jack" and Artie Mae Watson Cross, Mrs. Banks passed away Thursday, January 14, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta.
A resident of Love County most of her life, Mrs. Banks had been employed at Michelin in Ardmore for 26 years as a trucker in tire building. In addition, she was a representative for Avon and Scentsy. Her hobbies included all types of arts and crafts. She was a member of the Eastman Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her father on June 20, 2008; and two aunts, Claudine Watkins and Joyce Hendrix.
Survivors include her mother, Artie Cross of Marietta; Ricky Banks of Overbrook, Okla.; two sons, Erick Banks and special friend, Amanda, of Ardmore, and Kyle Banks and fianceé, Brooke, and children, Baylor and Kenadea of Marietta; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Bob and Brenda Cross of Marietta; grandmother, Jessie Cross of Marietta; aunts and uncles, Gloria and Zack Smith of Ardmore, and Marilyn and Terry Gentry of Wilson, Okla.; nieces and nephews, Brandon Kyle, Bree Cross, Amber Trammel, Heather Holland, Robert Wild, Aaron Roe, Jason Roe, Tanner Banks and Lauren Banks.
