Also for that year, they have an address of 514 W. 2nd in Salida. Leonardo was working at the Stone Quarry in 1930 (Wellsville?) so he may have been renting a place in Howard for closer proximity. Maria (Mary) was born in Italy as were her parents. She didn't attend school according to the census & couldn't read or write & only spoke Italian. They have two children: their son was listed as having the name "Legwego," "Legurgo" age 17 in the 1940 census & their daughter was listed as "Liondina" & Leona Mary" who was 15 in the same census.
