Evelyn Beard Mooney, 84, died Monday at her home in Tanglewood. Memorial service was held Saturday, March 25 at the Forest Grove Christian Church in Forest Grove with Rev. Chuck Salmon officiating. Mrs. Mooney, homemaker, was born in Tanglewood to William Fletcher Beard and Zula (Pounders) Beard. She married Henry E. Mooney on March 1944 in Bastrop. She was a resident of Tanglewood for 35 years. Mrs. Mooney was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, James O. Beard. Survivors include two sons, three daughters, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
