Mrs. Martha Sweet
Mrs. Martha Sweet, age 91 passed way Friday Aug 31st., at her home in West LaFayette following a long illness. She possessed many beautiful traits of character and was a dovout mumber of the Christian church.
She is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs H. Roach, Mrs.Emma Adeline, Mrs. Nancy Dixson and Charles Sweet.
Funeral services were held from Fairveiw church Saturday at 2 p.m. condected by Rev. W.L. Marvity, who paid a beautiful tribute to the life and character of this good women;
pallbears were R.S frye, C.B. Rape,J.W Dalton, Allen Denton, W.G Mitchell and H.J Wallen. Interment was in Fairveiw cemetery with J. Avery Brayn company in charge of all arrangements.
