Bridget Kearney was born in November 1834 in County Derry, Ireland to parents Francis Kearney (1787-1855), and Bridget Alice Bradley (1786-1889), both born in County Derry,
Ireland. Ship manifest records indicate that Bridget and her brother Patrick emigrated from Ireland on July 26, 1847, aboard the ship St. Lawrence, arriving in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from Liverpool.

On Apr 25, 1857, in St. John the Evangelist Church in Long Green, Baltimore County MD Bridget married Michael C. Bradley (1833-1900). Michael was a son of Michael Bradley (1793-1872) and Bridget Murray (1800-1883), both born in County Derry, Ireland. Her brother Patrick also married Michael Bradley's sister Mary E. Bradley.

Michael and Bridget lived at first in Harford County, Maryland and sometime after the Civil War moved to Cambria County, Pennsylvania where they settled into a life of farming. They had sixteen children. The following were born in Maryland: Mary Bradley, (1858-1872), Francis X. Bradley, (1859-1940), Susan Bradley-O'Donnell,(1861-1904), John W. Bradley, (1862-1910), James Bradley, (1864-1878). The remaining children were born in Pennsylvania: Anna Bradley-Ehringer, (1865-1954), Patrick Bradley, (1867-1881), and his twin, Michael C. Bradley (1867-1912), Sarah Belle Bradley, (1869-1878), Dennis Bradley, (1870-1870), Emma M. Bradley-Ingoldsby, (1872-1946), Elizabeth Bradley-Mulhearn-McCabe, (1874-1918), Wilson Andrew Bradley, (1876-1963), Charles Bradley, (1877-1959), George H. Bradley, (1879-1967), and Scott Thomsas Bradley, (1880-1956).

Bridget died Feb 5, 1899, in Cambria County, and both she and her husband are buried in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
