Wurtsboro - Mrs. Edith Babcock, widow of William Babcock, died early today at Horton Memorial Hospital, Middletown. She was born October eighteenth, 1872, at Monticello, a daughter of James and Sarah Purvis Dunn, and was a member of St. John's Episcopal church of Monticello.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Russell; a granddaughter, Miss Anna Belle Babcock and a great granddaughter of Wurtsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Cooney of Monticello, Mrs. Mary Seaman of New York and Mrs. Indormora Peets of Middletown; and a brother, David Dunn of Oriskany Falls, N.Y.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at two o'clock at the Dutch Reformed church here with the Rev. John W. Tysse officiating. Interment will be in Sylvan cemetery.

Bloomingburg - Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Babcock of Wurtsboro were held Sunday afternoon at Wurtsboro Reformed Church, with the Rev. John W. Tysse officiating. Burial was in Sylvan cemetery. Pallbearers were Lee Helm, Lyman Holmes, Harry Olcott, Jacob Wireman, Louis Gumaer and Edward Bowers.
