Peacefully departed this earth on November 18, 2000. She was preceded in death by husband, James E. Bland. She was retired from the Baptist Sunday School Board and was a active member of Lockeland Baptist Church. Survived by sons, Jerry Walter Bland and Ralph Edward Bland; sister-in-law, Mrs. Harry Demetros; three granddaughters, Kim Anderson, Tina Ullery and Sarah Rachel Bland; five great grandchildren; nieces, Loretta Scott (Bruce), Miss Imogene Hall, Mrs. David Carter, Jinx Cockerham, Harriet Simpson and Elaine Bly; nephews, Hugh Bland, Jr., David Carter and Harry Demertos, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday November 21, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Spring Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Langlois officiating. Family and Friends will serve as Active Pallbearers: Bethany Sunday School Class, Gertrude Hoover, Martha Roller and Dora Rankhorn. Visitation Monday, 4-9 p.m. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery.
