Mrs. Elizabeth Wright, 70, of Gladwin died suddenly of a stroke early Monday, Feb. 12, while visiting her daughter in Winston-Salem, N.C. Born in Austria Nov. 3, 1897, Mrs. Wright had been a resident of Gladwin County for many years. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schranz, of Buckeye Township. She and Eber Wright were married October, 1916, in Gladwin. Mrs. Wright was associated with her sons in the operation of their meat processing plant here before her retirement.
Surviving are her husband, Eber; two sons, Herman and Emil of Gladwin; two daughters, Mrs. Milton Sicard (Josephine) of Saginaw, and Mrs. Al Morgans (Florence) of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two brothers, Walter Schranz of Detroit ande Albert of Gaylord; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Nettleton and Mrs. Bertha Lennon of Gladwin, and Mrs. Josephine Behnke of Durand; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday, at 1:00 p.m. at the Miner Funeral Home with the Rev. John Cermak officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Gladwin. Gladwin County Record dated 02-14/1968 Column - 6 Page - 1
