She was born Sept. 13, 1966, in Kenton to John and Melinda E. (Nichols) Bailey. Her father and stepmother, John and Wilma Bailey, survive in Alger and her mother and stepfather, Melinda and Michael Carpenter survive in Huntsville.
She first married Robert Leiber. They divorced and he survives in Alger. On Feb. 19, 2001, she married John "David" Aguirre, who survives in Columbus Grove.
Other survivors include a son, Jeremiah D. Leiber of Alger; a daughter, Ashley N. Leiber of Alger; two brothers, Johnny B. Bailey of Ada and Thad Bailey of McGuffy; two sisters, Jackie Bailey of Bellefontaine and Angie (Joseph) Freytag of Alger; maternal grandmother Doris M. Nevers of Bellefontaine; paternal grandmother Maxine Patrick of Alger; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and two nieces.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Otis Bailey.
Mrs. Aguirre was a homemaker. She attended Victory Chapel of Praise in rural Alger and was a 1985 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, Pastors David and Sandra Schneer officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Preferred memorials are to her children.
