Bobbie Ray Abney, 72, of Crossett died Thursday, November 26, 2009, at her residence in Crossett. Mrs. Abney was a native and lifelong resident of Crossett, a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Redeemer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Leonard Abney, Jr., in 2004; her parents, Shack & Versie Gilbert Rice; a brother Murry Rice; and a sister, Ethel Foy.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 28, at the Church of the Redeemer with Rev. Bob Whiteley officiating. Burial followed at Pinewood Memorial Park.
