George Holcombe, Jr. age 77 of Stockbridge passed away on April 1, 2009.

Mr. Holcombe is preceded in death by his son Ricky Holcombe, 5 sisters and 1 brother. George is survived by his wife Jean Holcombe, daughters Vickie (Travis) Todd, Sherry Holcombe, sons, Micky (Daisy) Holcombe, Toney (Tonie) Holcombe, grandchildren, Jackie Holcombe, Melissa Black, Kelly Todd, Zachary Holcombe, Jeremy Todd, sister Jackie Woodson.

Funeral service for Mr. Holcombe will be held on Saturday April 4, 2009 at Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday April 3, 2009 from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Horis A. Ward Fairview Chapel 770-474-1231.
