McGUFFEY - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Allen, 76, of McGuffey will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in High Street Free Will Baptist Church, 11 miles east of Lima, Rev. Clarence Tolliver officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Mrs. Allen died Wednesday afternoon in Lima Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was born May 2, 1891, in Floyd County, Kentucky, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rowe. Her husband, Ramey, died in 1959.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dewey (Grace) Pinks of McGuffey; two sons, Andrew of Kenton and Carve Allen of McGuffey; three brothers, Alex of Mousie, Ky., Willie of Royalton, Ky., and Charles of Prestonsburg, Ky.; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Pinks home until 10 a.m. Saturday. Hanson Funeral Home, Alger, is in charge of arrangements.
