Cora and William had the following children: Clyde Hershelle, Annie Irene, Minnie Lorene, Mount Vernon, Winnie Earline, and Floyd Lee.

Cora's survivors include her husband; three sons, Clyde, Mount, and Floyd; three daughters, Annie, Minnie, and Winnie; two brothers, Ira Henderson and Herman Henderson; 23 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Cora's funeral services were in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommie Allen officiating. Burial was to be in Hale Center Cemetery under direction of the Hale Center Funeral Home.
