Alyssa Jo Anderson, age 18, of Willow Road, Marquette, Michigan, entered eternal life Sunday June 7, 2009 at her home.
Alyssa was born March 13, 1991 in Ishpeming, Michigan, the daughter of William (fiancé Lori Fassbender) and her mother, Staci Fortin of Marquette. She graduated with honors on May 28, 2009 from Marquette Alternative High School.
Alyssa Anderson had a personality that lit up the room. She had a great love for her sisters and brothers. Alyssa loved four wheeling, painting, camping, fishing, riding her bike and a great love for animals.
She was survived by her parents; two sisters, Page Anderson and Kristine Beltame of Marquette; two step-sisters, Danielle and Breanna Fassbender of Marquette; two brothers, Billy Anderson and Erik Grawien of Marquette; grandparents, Colleen (me me) and Bob Pascoe, Janice and Roy Anderson of Marquette; great-grandparents, Jerry and Eleanor Paterick, William and Lorraine Fortin, Jim and Dolores (gi gi and pops) Fitzpatrick of Marquette; aunt and uncle, Doug (Diane) of Marquette and Amber (Joe) Renaud of Ironwood, Michigan; special cousins, Steve and Tiffany Fortin, Marissa Renaud, Taylor, Leah, Cooper and Lexi Anderson; special littles ones, Natalie, Madison and Hayden Meyers.
Alyssa was preceded in death by her uncles, Allen Fortin and Jimmy Boerner.
