Mary Reed Crook, 90, of Hockessin, DE, a native of Spartanburg, died Saturday, January 2, 2010. She was the daughter of Walker Reynolds and Helen Reed Crook and a former member of First Presbyterian Church.
Miss Crook graduated from Spartanburg High School, 1936, and Converse College, 1940. After receiving a Master's degree from Columbia University, she had a long career in social work with the YWCA and Geriatric Services, Wilmington, DE.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be sent to Converse College, Office of Development, 580 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29302.
