Charles W. Ray, 81, of 8212 Huguenard Road, died at 6:30 pm yesterday in Parkview Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since May 25.
He was born in Adams County and resided in this area since 1935. He was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Della; five daughters, Mrs. Helen Knott, Mrs. Vivien Johnson, Mrs. Louella Allen and Mrs. Maxine Jones, all of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Mary Geiger, Albion; a son, Clyde, Churubusco; a brother, Leland, Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Rickard, Decatur and Mrs. Mary Fuller, Tucson, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to D.O. McComb & Sons Funeral Home.
