Funeral to be Conducted Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Anne Blondin, 87, who died Tuesday night following a week's illness of pneumonia, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chauncey Krell, by the Rev. J. J. Brittell, pastor of (the First Presbyterian Church). Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Blondin was born July 17, 1848 in Leigh, Worchester, England. She came to Canada when a young woman. There she was married on Sept. 17 1887 to Charles E Payne, who died May 30, 1895. One daughter, Rose, now Mrs. Krell, was born to them. On Sept 17, 1898 she was married to Van Blondin, who died June 12, 1912. Besides Mrs Krell, one niece, Mrs George Hunt in Leighworchester, England. Mr Blondin's neice Mrs Rhodes in Independence, survive.
