BRYANT BOLIN

LEESVILLE -- Services for Bryant J. Bolin, 79, will be held Sunday, 3 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, near Springfield. Visitation will be tonight, 7-9 p.m. at Culler- McAlhany Funeral Home.

Mr. Bolin died May 23. Born in Orangeburg County, he was a son of the late Odom and Eppsie Chavis Bolin. He was married to Margie Chavis Bolin. He was an Army veteran of World War II, retired from Capital City Mills and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughters, Mae Frances Wood of Gaston and Jo Ann Bowen of West Columbia; sons, James Bolin of Salley, Ernest Bolin, Robert Bolin and Wesley B. Bolin, all of Leesville; a sister, Lizzie Abbott of Blackville; brothers, Costa Bolin of Wauchula Fla, and Odom Bolin of Salley; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

BATESBURG - LEESVILLE, S.C. -- Bryant J. Bolin, 79, of 232 Valley Stream Road, died Thursday at his residence.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, near Springfield, with the Rev. Robbie Croft officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The casket will be placed in the church at 2 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Bowen, Curtis Wood, Eddie Chaney, Timmy Bolin, Charles Wesley Bolin, and James Filyaw.

Mr. Bolin was born in Orangeburg County, a son of the late Odom Bolin and Epsie Chavis Bolin. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and was a retired employee of Capital City Mills. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and married to the late Margie Chavis Bolin.

Survivors include two daughters, Mae Frances Wood of Gaston and Jo Ann Bowen of West Columbia; four sons, James Bolin of Salley, and Ernest Bolin, Robert Bolin and Wesley Bolin, all of Batesburg - Leesville; a sister, Lizzie Abbott of Blackville; two brothers, Costa Bolin of Wauchula, Fla. and Odom Bolin of Salley; 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Culler - McAlhany of North. Friends may call at the residence.
