Mrs. Evva Bandy Dies Suddenly
Mrs. Evva Christian Bandy, former Orland resident, died suddenly at her home in Del Paso Heights near Sacramento, according to a telephone message this morning received by John H. Bandy.
Mrs. Bandy had suffered a heart attack a number of weeks ago, following the death of her mother, Mrs. Christian, and was unable to come to Orland for the services. However, she had gradually improved.
This morning, she was at the breakfast table with her husband, Lawrence, when she was suddenly stricken and was dead before medical aid could be summoned.
Mrs. Bandy was the former Evva Christian, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Pete Christian, and made her home here for many years before moving to Sacramento.
Mrs. Bandy is survived by her husband, Lawrence Bandy, and one daughter, Mrs. Frances DeGarmo, Sacramento.
Funeral services will be held in Orland and arrangements are pending. – Transcribed by E.
