EDRIS B. "AUNTIE" ATKINS, 90, of Louisville, died Tuesday at Norton Southwest Hospital. She was the former Edris Tower, a native of Perry County, IN, the owner/operator of the old Edris' Beauty Shoppe and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, her mother, her father, sister and brother. She is survived by her sister, Opal Teague, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and a special friend, Debbie Tuggle. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at family-owned Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to her church, 900 Denmark, Louisville, Ky. 40215.
