Hilda M. Campbell, 79, of Coatesville, passed away in the Life Care Center in West Chester on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008.
Born in Madison County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Edna Bland Frazier. She was the last survivor of her siblings.
She had been employed as a production operator with the Burroughs Corp. of Downingtown.
She was a member of the Brewer Memorial Baptist church in Pomeroy, where she sang in the choir.
She enjoyed many things, among them spending time with her family and close friends.
She is survived by her sons, Henry A. Carey (wife Renee) and Moses Campbell, all of Coatesville, Tyrone E. Campbell (wife Sherri) of Houston, Texas, and Michael W. Campbell of Lancaster; daughters, Yvonne M. Campbell-McNeil (husband Michael) of East Fallowfield, Stephanie D. Campbell of Lancaster, and Janice M. Campbell of Coatesville; along with 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at the Brewer Memorial Baptist Church on Route 372 in Pomeroy.
Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the services.
Interment will be in New Evergreen Cemetery in Coatesville.
