COOPER, Mollie Sweet, age 89, of Lockett St., Monticello, Ky. passed away Friday, February 18, 2005 at Taylor County Hospital in Campbellsville, Ky. She was born December 21, 1915 in Wayne Co., Ky., the daughter of the late A.B. and Elispie Jane Simpson Sweet. She married Winfred Francis Cooper on August 18, 1934, who preceded her in death. She is survived by one daughter-Mary Ella Bertram of Campbellsville, Ky.; one son-Billy Joe Cooper of Cross Plains, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was one infant son-Bobby Lee Cooper; three brothers-Mintford, Timmy and Willie Sweet; and three sisters-Ollie Thornton, Charlotte Dishman and Tilda Sexton. She was a retired employee of the Monticello Shirt Factory. She was a faithful member of Newtown Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 20, 2005 in the funeral homechapel with Rev. Bill Dick officiating. Burial was in Elk Spring Cemetery. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Wayne Co. Outlook

MOLLIE SWEET COOPER was born December 21st, 1915 in Wayne County, Kentucky and departed this life Friday, February 18th, 2005, reaching the age of 89 years. She was the daughter of the late A.B. Sweet and Ellispie Simpson Sweet.
She was united in marriage to Winifred Francis (W.F.)Cooper and to this union two children were born.
She is survived by one son-Billy Joe Cooper of Nashville, TN and one daughter-Mary Ella Bertram of Campbellsville, KY. She is survived by four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband W.F., three brothers-Mintford, Timmy and Willie Sweet and three sisters-Ollie Thorton, Charlottie Dishman and Matilda Sexton.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
