Greene County native Mrs. Winifred (Faith) Burruss, 81, of St. Louis died Sept. 13, 2005, in Texas with her children by her side after battling multiple myeloma.
She was born in Rockbridge, the daughter of Celah and Nettie Faith. She and her husband, David E. Burruss, were married 50 years before his death.
A memorial service was held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Webster Hills United Methodist Church. Burial at Carrollton City Cemetery on Saturday.
