Louise was born to Mary Edith Gish and John Alexander. She married Robert James Barnett June 19, 1947 in Boise, ID. They had three children, Athena Louise Barnett Crowley, Timothy James, and Jonathan Robert. Louise and Robert Barnett founded Glad Tidings Church in 1959 there in Boise, Idaho.
