Mommy was a long term resident in the backyard of my friend, Olivia who provided food and shelter to homeless cats in south Philadelphia.
I can't believe there's no picture of Mommy in Olivia's photo albums, but there's not, so this memorial must be made without one.
While I don't recall what Mommy looked like, I do recall that she was around in 1994 because at first, when I asked Olivia which cats were the parents of my cat Jasper whom I'd adopted from her yard, I sometimes confused Mommy with Tiger, the latter of whom was truly Jasper's mom. As her name suggests though, Mommy had plenty of kittens of her own.
