Joe Brisco, 76, Funeral Held at Sheridan
Last rites for Joe Brisco, 76-year-old resident of Sheridan, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Sheridan Baptist church with Rev. M. F. Dollar officiating. {Interment was in the Cheetham Cemetery.]
The retired farmer died at the family residence early Monday. Surviving are his widow; six daughters, Mrs. Harley Fuller and Mrs. Wilbur Willis both of Sheridan, Mrs. George Ripple of Weimar, Mrs. Ples Holster of Yoakum, Mrs. R. L. Schedski of Richards and Mrs. H. B. Spittler of Caldwell; five sons, Olvie, I. I., Henry, Jack and Willard Brisco; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Johnson of Oklahoma; and one brother, Jewel Brisco of Sheridan.
Mr. Brisco was born in Mississippi and came to Colorado county when he was quite young. He was a member of the Baptist church.
